Apocolypse Soundtrack

What would it sound like? is it possible that one song will change the world, save us all, stop time? Freeze a wave? I am trying to figure out if it's physically and metaphorically possible to use...

Hello, Michael Here, I wanted to ask you if you know if the Philippines will be OK for a while. I built a 2000 square foot solid concrete home there in 2004. My wife is Filipina. She and my two kids are there now. I plan to join them by December depending on how fast I can sell my two homes in Fort Worth Texas.
I plan to buy or build a boat or a survival pod that will float, balanced to stay upright at all times and sealed when the door is closed. It will be stocked with non perishable food. My home is surrounded by beach resorts as we are only about 3 kilometers from the ocean. My house was built up on a mountain, but not too high. Feel free to call me if you want to talk, it is kind of lonely here with the kids and wife gone. You can also join our social network here: http://abutinangpangarap.ning.com/

Caveman,
I have posted several comments on different group sites, but as of yet I have been unable to find a serious group.
From all I have been studding and reading over the past 15 years, it seem as though the only fairly safe place in the US would be the mountains of West Virginia. I say this because if a full reversal is going to happen, when the Earth stop's spinning and reverses, the oceans will still keep going and as I have read they expect the pacific to come inland to about Colorado. While on the east coast, the Atlantic will keep going and wash over Europe.
Either way, I am getting desperate to find a serious group to join. I am a contractor by trade, can build and fix almost anything. My daughter is a nurse, and then my Mom that I will not leave behind. But she's a hell of a cook. I have started saving non-pershibles but as of now live on Long Island N.Y. and know I need to get out of here soon. I own my home which I am considering selling and using the cash to get all I need to prepare. Besides, if the signs start becoming clear, what value will a home have?
Please anyone serious get back to me. I want to move on this now before the 2012 movie comes out and starts a panic of buying and moving.
Good luck to us all, Doug

hi kim,
we are considering droping a 40ft container in the ground then building a partially
burried dome green house on top of it. just in case of high wind, ash, solar activity or whatever. like the old saying goes, Id rather have it and not need it !

howdy people,
well....a possibly perfict property found my wife and i. It came to us through friends. we love it but were trying to be patient and get our affairs in order while still seeking. we also know to prosper through 2012 and beyond we will need eachother so we are looking for others who want to connect. this property is 10 min from pagosa springs and borders a ute res. and a 10k ac ranch. the prop is 13 ac has 2 houses a barn and 2 wells one being a sweet water spring well. we want to start building and preparing by 2011. I have been researching what might be safe locations in usa for a year and its starting to get trivial. this prop is in a valley at 7k ft protected by a circle of 10k ft mtn tops. possible volcano activity in mtn range could prove to be friend or foe in an ice age. I know that hot springs in an ice age make survival possible (maybe even comfortable !). bottom line-all we can do is make an edjucated guess and follow our intuition.

I live in the Rockies in New Mexico, but plan on moving North to Colorado in 2011.
We will be using wind power, greenhouses , water harvesting and plan on digging into the earth for an underground or partially underground housing. I do electronics, plumbing and gardening.
Hope to see you in the Rockies. The winters can be harsh, if you are not prepared, but the views are amazing !

Now one third of this group is located in the west coast... Acually were a family of four also set on relocating to the rockies. we were going to do the unsinkable boat trip but the only one we could find unsinkable (e-tap) 46' was the biggest very pricy and more of a day sailor really. has almost no tankage, fuel or watter,no full keel, mast and rigging are whimpy,no room for storage, besides with a pole rev and/or shift come the worst wind storms mother earth has to offer.sounds rough. anyhow, we went with a 40' motorcoach that we are currently outfitting for long term survival in the rockies (col/new mex area). we are looking for likeminded peeps to hook up with and form a fully self contained mtn community.anchored dome houses, huge librarry, medic and dent supls, dehr food, seed bank, water treatment and making devices, alternative power plants, the list is long but positive attitude is most important. lets put our heads and pull our resources together. we will start our visionquest as soon as early 2011 by way of four corners to hopefully meet some others and of course have some fun along the way. its all up from there. we are trying to establish contacts in the mtn range with more ideas of site loc. ideas welcome -goodwill from caveman

2012 Forum Members on TV

As part of the celebration surrounding the release of the blockbuster 2012 movie, several members of the 2012 Forum have appeared on TV. I was on a Nat Geo documentary, and excerpted on Entertainment Tonight.Steve Pace was interviewed by CNN:http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/showbiz/2009/11/16/wynter.doomsday.followers.cnnAnd our own resident Charlie Frost, known as TheVeiledProphet, popped up

2012 Movie: Geryl, Suicide & the Chinese

Most major newspapers had an article on the new 2012 movie when it opened recently. The Spectator ends their review with something I found amusing & strangely prophetic:When the remnant of humanity -- and a Noah's ark sampling of animals -- has to be herded into movie's own, apocalypse-proof arks, it's Chinese engineering, not American, that proves equal to the task. "Leave it to the Chinese,"

Decline in Megafauna Pre-Dates Clovis, Extraterrestrial Impact

Twenty thousand years ago, North America had a more impressive array of big mammals than Africa does today; by 10,000 years ago, 34 genera of these mammals were gone, including the 10 species that weighed more than a ton.A new study, published in Science, shows that the decline in Megafauna in North America pre-dates the Clovis culture, or the proposed extraterrestrial impact, by 1000 years. The

Mini Ice Age Happened Rapidly

Just like the movie helmed by 2012 director, The Day After Tomorrow, our planet's climate is capable of rapid change, according to scientists from the University of Saskatchewan.Around 12,800 years ago the northern hemisphere was hit by the Younger Dryas mini ice age, or "Big Freeze"...and lasted around 1300 years.

Patrick Geryl Discovers Labyrinth in Egypt

With financial support from Louis De Cordier, 2012 author Patrick Geryl has used ground-penetrating radar to provide evidence for the legendary "labyrinth" and possible home of the Hall of Records to be located in Hawara, Egypt. Zahi Hawass is now involved and excavations have begun. The situation is starting to look a little embrassing for Egyptian authorities, given that English author Andrew
